The "6 meter rule" was created in 1907 and were chosen as an Olympic class in 1908. It became one of the most popular sailboat racing classes worldwide in the 20's and 30's. But by 1949, the 5.5 meter class was created and soon was more popular because it could be bought and managed for less cost.
This yacht was in better than new condition!
